LASER therapy

One of the services I provide is LASER therapy. LASER is an acronym for Light Amplified Stimulation by Emission of Radiation.

Energy from the LASER is absorbed by superficial and deep tissues; causing numerous cellular and physiological effects. These effects accelerate the regenerative process in damaged cells.

Due to the effect of LASER therapy, it can be used to treat and manage numerous conditions:

🌟 Trigger points

🌟 Arthritis

🌟 Wounds

🌟 Tendon injuries

🌟 Muscle tears

And many more!

Today I'm going to talk about using LASER therapy to treat trigger points. Trigger points, also known as muscle knots, are produced in our pets muscles when they have tight muscles (often occurring with injuries, conditions and post surgery due to compensatory changes in the way your pet moves) and are similar to the knots we get in our shoulders and backs.

Trigger points often become painful to touch and cause spasms in the muscle when left untreated. This can make it difficult for me to massage deep enough to fully resolve the trigger points in your pets muscles due to it being too sore and painful for them.

LASER therapy has been clinically proven to be an effective treatment for trigger points by providing pain relief. This means that after treating the trigger points with LASER therapy, I can then fully massage the area and provide a more effective treatment to fully resolve the pain and trigger points, and help reduce tightness in your pets muscles!

If you think LASER therapy and physiotherapy can help your pet or you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email Sammi at anglainvetphysio@gmail.com or call 07775161526.
