SAMMI

ABOUT: Sammi

Anglian Vet Physio & Hydro is owned by Sammi Curtis who is a fully qualified and insured Veterinary Physiotherapist and Canine Hydrotherapist. 

Sammi has an affinity for animals which grew into a passion. She went on to study Veterinary Physiotherapy BSc (Hons) at Harper Adams University for four years. During her placement year on this course she worked at Newmarket Equine Hospital where she handled all temperaments of horses and came across interesting orthopaedic, neurological and soft tissue conditions. She also carried out a placement at Cotswold Dog Spa in Gloucestershire where her love for canine hydrotherapy grew. 

Sammi is professional and works to a high standard. She has thorough knowledge in canine and equine physiotherapy and canine hydrotherapy with the most up-to date techniques and skills. Moreover, Sammi continues to keep abreast of latest developments through CPD (Continuing Professional Development) training to keep up-to date with new research and therapies.

ABOUT: Amy

Amy is a Level 3 Canine Hydrotherapist and a member of CHA and IAAT. She is also a student member of the association of Merishia Massage Therapists. 

 

Amy has always had a passion for animals and working in animal rehab, and has previously worked in equine rehab and training 🐴 

 

In her spare time, Amy loves going hiking with her Husky; with the Peak District and Lake District being their favourite areas to explore. Amy also enjoys paddleboarding (which her dog also enjoys! 🐶) and loves taking part in Canicross. 

ABOUT: Charlotte

Charlotte carries out physiotherapy at AVPH and helps out behind the scenes with admin. Charlotte is RAMP registered and has a Masters in Veterinary Physiotherapy.

 

At home, Charlotte is kept busy by her small fur-and-feathered family, including her two parrots Moo and Sully, who also consider themselves admin assistants and like to oversee all admin duties! 

 

When Charlotte is not surrounded by animals, you’ll usually find her outdoors exploring or out around the coast in her role as a Coastguard Rescue Officer.

ABOUT: Tara

Tara carries out small animal physiotherapy and hydrotherapy appointments at AVPH.

 

Tara is a RAMP registered, Masters qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and Level 3 Canine Hydrotherapist with treadmill qualification. Tara has always loved caring for and being around animals.

 

In her spare time Tara enjoys reading and spending time with her dogs and horses; who keep her very busy!

ABOUT: Zara

Zara is a Masters qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist and a member of NAVP. Zara has a passion for caring for animals all shapes and sizes, which also includes carrying out physiotherapy on horses. 

 

In her spare time Zara loves to find new places to go for walks and explore, with the Peak District being a firm favourite. She also loves to bake and when time is really on her side, going horse riding is her favourite thing to do.
