Initial Physiotherapy Appointment

60-90 minutes
This is an initial assessment and physiotherapy treatment service. The session will begin with some questions to gather information about your horse, their history and their lifestyle. It will include a static and dynamic assessment and palpation. A personalised treatment plan will be made and carried out within the session. If necessary, a home exercise program will also be made for you to carry out in between physiotherapy sessions as this is a key factor to rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
All Following Physiotherapy Appointments

This is an assessment and physiotherapy treatment service for existing clients. The session will begin with a few questions to find out how your horse has been since the last session. It will include a static and dynamic assessment and palpation. A personalised treatment plan will be made and carried out within the session. If necessary, a home exercise program will also be made for you to carry out in between physiotherapy sessions as this is a key factor to rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
Polework/groundwork session

45 - 60 minutes
In this session I will gather information about your horse, their history and their lifestyle. I will also assess your horse statically and dynamically and then we will go through polework and groundwork exercises to target areas that your horse needs to strengthen and improve.

Please note that Veterinary physiotherapists are required to treat under veterinary referral in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966. Therefore, all clients currently under veterinary treatment/investigations MUST have a referral from their veterinarian before physiotherapy treatment. If your animal has not directly been referred by your veterinarian, Sammi will need to contact your veterinarian to acquire consent prior to your appointment.
If you're over 10 miles from NR17, a mileage charge will be additional to the price.
